The Hollywood Special

Willoughby's caption for this picture:

"When Jean Seberg won the title role in the film Saint Joan, director Otto Preminger promised her a dream trip to Paris as a special prize, including a chance to see Ingrid Bergman in Tea and Sympathy. After the performance Otto took Jean backstage and introduced the newest Joan to Ingrid, who had played the same role eight years earlier. Jean was noticably awed to be with such a famous actress. Ingrid was reassuring and commented that 'each time they make this film, the hair seems to get shorter!'"
